Bouvy Advies processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data from you:

  • Damage history
  • Payment behavior
  • Criminal past
  • Citizen service number
  • Financial information such as your bank account number or your DigiD code
  • Vehicle registration number(s)
  • Cadastral data
  • Chamber of Commerce extracts
  • Data of persons under the age of 16

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. Bouvy Advies does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (for example an employee of Bouvy Advies) involved. Bouvy Advies uses the following computer programs or systems:

  • Extranets of various banks and insurers regarding your insurance and mortgage and as storage of your file.
  • A CRM (Customer Relationship Management) package for our administration and processing of your customer data.
  • Microsoft Office 365 to communicate internally and with you via email
  • Advisory software for making calculations and concluding mortgages and insurance
  • Cloud storage; we use secure external digital storage capacity to store all data we have from you for as long as is (legally) necessary.

How long we retain data:

Bouvy Advies will not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Our retention periods are not the same for everyone. This depends on many factors, such as the type of product or service you have purchased from us and whether you have a service subscription with us for a specific service. For example, in some cases your data may be stored with us for 30 years, while in other cases this is no longer necessary after 2 years.

Share with others:
Bouvy Advies does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Bouvy Advies will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
